Scope and Contents note
Sam Blackwell was in the medical corps during WWII and served in France, 1944-1946. He took photographs of soldiers, prisoners-of-war, and French towns and countryside showing local residents and damage to buildings from bombing and fighting. The collection includes photographic prints, negatives, albums, a photograph log book, and exhibits.
