Class Schedules have been published by Lane Community College since the college was established in 1964; the first classes were offered in Fall 1965. The Archives holds Class Schedules for the main campus since 1965, for LCC Cottage Grove since 1978, and for LCC Florence since 1973. The schedules list course information for credit classes, traditional classes as well as Distance Learning and online courses, and also information about non-credit classes in Continuing Education programs.

Between 2006 and Summer 2011, the class schedule was published in the form of a magazine called Aspire. In addition to the schedules for credit classes and non-credit/Continuing Education classes, Aspire included feature articles about students, alumni, and selected programs; information about Enrollment and Student Services; college locations, and the Academic Calendar.

Community Education – Class Schedule began publication in Fall 2011. It lists course offerings for non-credit, Community Education classes. Information about credit courses and class schedules is available online on the LCC website.

Publication of the Class Schedule had been the responsibility of Institutional Advancement. Since the 2002-2003 academic year, Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning has been responsible for publishing the Class Schedule and its successor publications, Aspire and Community Education-Class Schddule.
