A staff and faculty newsletter has been published by Lane Community College since the college was established in 1965.

LCC Roundup / Titan Roundup was the first newsletter for staff and students published weekly between September 24, 1965 and December 16, 1969. The name alternated between LCC Roundup and Titan Roundup.

A staff publication, named The Daily, was published daily between January 5, 1970 and 1985; after 1985 publication varied between 3 and 4 days a week. A short-lived publication, The Echo, was published between March 18 and July 9, 1970 - The Daily reported events and policy changes while The Echo was designed for intra-staff communications. The Daily was generally published once a week during the summer.

Beginning on July 1, 1998, The Daily ceased publication as a print publication, and was distributed electronically by e-mail beginning on July 6, 1998.

Beginning on September 5, 2006, The Daily became the Lane Weekly and began weekly publication with distribution electronically by e-mail on Tuesdays.

Publication of The Daily and Lane Weekly was the responsibility of Institutional Advancement and later Marketing and Public Relations following an administrative reorganization.
