The collection consists of photographs and slides taken by Sam Blackwell, instructor at Lane Community College. The photographs were taken of buildings and grounds and classroom activities on the LCC main campus and other college locations. The collection also includes photographs of Blackwell’s family, travels in the US and abroad, and his service in the U.S. Army in France during World War II.

This collection contains visual and audio materials produced by Media Arts students and staff, including slide shows used for marketing and publicity, videos of “News Scene” telecasts, and departmental photographs and newsletters.

This collection contains primarily negatives and proof sheets with some prints of photographs taken by the staff of The Torch, the student newspaper for Lane Community College. Most of the images are black and white and document college events and news items that appeared in the newspaper.
